The Reel Write Bros.:
David Longworth, Harry Kalensky and Allan Stanleigh

The Reel Write Bros. collectively represent a century of film, television and musical experience. They have been contracted by film and television producers to develop scripts, treatments and character profiles and one page outlines including co-writing the screenplay, ‘Criminal of Love’ for the Vancouver production company, Passion Entertainment. Between them, they have written 10 feature length screenplays. They have written the script for a full-length animated screenplay, ‘The Adventures of Mowgli,’ a feature based on Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’ stories. Voices for the characters included Charleton Heston, Sam Elliot and Dana Delaney. The film has been broadcast on HBO and Canada’s youth network, YTV. Their screenplay, ‘Fun City: Pop. 250.’ placed in the top 50 of 1200 entries in the Writer’s Foundation screenplay writing contest (1995). Producers have optioned their screenplays on five separate occasions.

Writer Harry Kalensky
Harry Kalensky has been in the eyes and ears of Canadians for over five decades. As the original bass player of Canada’s Trooper, his contributions have enjoyed multi-platinum awards. Many of the songs are Canadian Rock standards, playing on radio or streaming over 250,000 times, including: ‘Two for the Show,’ ‘Boys in the Bright White Sports Car,’ and ‘Santa Maria.’ As a songwriter and member of ‘Trooper’, Harry has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the National Walk of Fame in Toronto and the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame. And he is a recipient of a Canadian Juno Award.

Davy Longworth
David Longworth has had a lifetime involvement in the arts including film, theatre and musical production and direction. He is a poet and performer, both writing and reciting. As a partner in the Reel Write Bros. he has collaborated in writing numerous screenplays. They have converted two of their screenplays into graphic novels and David is a director of the publishing companies. Along with Allan Stanleigh, Davy is the writer and director of short films for their production company, And Don’t Call Me Shirley Productions.

Allan Stanleigh
Allan Stanleigh is the author or coauthor of 12 feature-length screenplays. Three have been optioned. Allan taught film-making and writing to kids at the Ailanthus Arts Centre for Youth in Vancouver, B. C. Allan is the writer, producer, recording engineer and a voice actor in the comedy podcast, 'No Shirt, No Shoes, Pants Optional’. Before putting the show on hiatus, he recorded 43 one hour episodes of the podcast. He is the managing director of USNA Publishing Inc. the company that publishes the USNA series and West Ghost Publishing, which publishes the Reelwrite Bros. other graphic novel series, 'Caretakers'. Along with Davy Longworth, Allan is the writer and producer of short films for their production company, And Don’t Call Me Shirley Productions.

USNA Illustration Artist: Dave Casey
Dave Casey graduated in 2003 from the Alberta College of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications. He spent the next three years working for Nonfiction Studios, an innovative web and graphic design house in Calgary. He has since developed a freelance career as an illustrator and designer, working with such clients as the New York Times, SEED Science and Culture Magazine, and Future Snowboarding Magazine. His comic art talent has been expressed in the comic book "PROOF", about a Bigfoot who works for a CIA-like organization called The Lodge, which tracks down and protects cryptids - animals uncatalogued by science. He has drawn stories, created a pin-up and is currently the colourist for PROOF. Dave has earned a Masters of Fine Arts Degree at the School of Visual Arts in New York, in the Illustration as Visual Essay program.

USNA II Art and Illustrations: Francine Delgado
Francine Delgado is a Costa Rican-Canadian comic artist, cover artist, and character designer. Her work includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW), Gatchaman and Flash Gordon (Mad Cave), and Legendary: Black Widow (Marvel Upper Deck). She contributed to the Ringo-nominated anthology Lower Your Sights. With a bold, dynamic style inspired by manga, European comics, and fashion design, Francine creates striking visuals and rich storytelling. Her collaborators include Marvel, IDW, and Mad Cave.

Graphics and Lettering - Chris Barrett
Chris Barrett has loved horror movies, comics and cartoons for as long as he can remember. He possesses a nearly irrelevant diploma in Classical Animation. He contributed heavily to Canada’s first stop-motion, animated film, Edison and Leo, and has recently worked the past six years at EA on titles such as FIFA 16, Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, and Need for Speed World. He continues to be creative in all materials and mediums. He lives in Vancouver with his wife, their children, a lizard named Uri and a fish called Pepperoni.

Executive Producer: Larry Stanleigh
Dr. Larry is a man of many hats (literally). He is a GP dentist with a focus on cosmetic, reconstructive and sports dentistry. He is a world renowned expert in orofacial pain and TMJ dysfunction from trauma. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Agility Guard, a Canadian Sports Performance Mouthguard company. He is an International Keynote speaker that is motivational and small business focussed. He is the Executive Producer of USNA: United States of North America, a graphic novel project. He is an experienced MC, stand-up comic, former rock radio DJ, and voice actor in No Shirt, No Shoes, Pants Optional comedy podcast. He gets his inspiration from his wife and two daughters and his perspiration worrying about everyone else.
* These images were created for the USNA concept animated series Yurin Luck. This spinoff idea is based on one of the methods of escape for rebels in the world of USNA. The rebels hid inside portable toilets being transported by truck. The company is named Yurin Luck Portable Toilets. Carlos Salazar created the artwork.
